Part of week or only weekend?

You can also rent Villa Ekbacken for part of a week or a weekend. The house is insulated for winter living and the cosiness factor is high! Minimi 4 days, normally Thuresday – Sunday

Distance:
From Vaxholm to Arlanda airport: 55 km. Take a taxi or rent a car.
From Vaxholm to centre of Stockholm: 45 km. Take a local ferry, a bus a taxi, or rent a car.

Included in the rent: the house is let out fully furnished and is well equipped with duvets, cushions and house wares. Sheets and towels are included. A boat with outboard motor belongs to the house, plus a few bicycles. Villa Ekbacken also has a membership with the local tennis club, and you are welcome to use the tennis court. Normal consumption of electricity and water is included. Firewood for reasonable numbers of fires are also included.

To use the boat, a certain boat and sea knowledge are necessary for safety reasons. We will make you go through a small boat test.

The house is fully insured.

On arrival the easiest way to get to get to the island is to take a taxiboat from Vaxholm (10 min) or to take the local ferry. We will give you keys and some general instructions. At departure we will pick up the keys and survey the house, boat and bicycles.

Cleaning: cleaning is not included in the rent. The house should be left cleaned and tidy before departure. Cleaning staff can easily be arranged and the cost will be deducted from your deposit. Please let me know well in advance

Animals and allergy: the house is allergy friendly. Pets are not allowed and indoor smoking is forbidden.

Mobile telephone coverage: coverage is very good

Complaints: any complaints or imperfections should be reported immediately, so that I can sort out potential issues.
