Only 150 meters from the house local ferries leave the island regularly, taking you on a scenic route into the heart of central Stockholm in just under one hour. If you choose to go in the other direction, you reach the outer archipelago, with its breathtakingly beautiful scenery!
The garden is large, wild and very beautiful.
From the veranda you see the water shimmering in the sunshine. In Stockholm’s archipelago you can swim almost anywhere. It is also very good for fishing.
Villa Ekbacken is suitable for: families and friends.
Villa Ekbacken is less suitable for: party groups who want to dance and party all night long. The neighbours, even though not very close, want to sleep peacefully.
Number of beds: 6 + 2. The large house has three bedrooms with double beds. The other two beds are in the small conservatory by the water front.
Number of rooms: 6 rooms in the large house. The tower room with adorable view, the dining room with table for 10 people, the living room with an open fireplace and three bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bath room has a shower, washing machine and a tumble drier.
Size: 140 m2 + sundeck 60 m2 + conservatory by the waterfront 10 m2.

Conservatory, jetty and sauna: Newly built jetty (13m), water deep enough for yachts and perfect for fishing. In the sauna you sit peacefully, overlooking the shimmering water and passing boats.
The garden: Very large (6000 m2) and well kept with big lawns, lilac, honeysuckle, lavender and peonies. The garden is also child friendly, featuring swings and a sandpit for hours of outdoor play. There are also sun chairs, sun sail, and garden furniture’s.
Boat: an aluminium boat with an outboard motor is included in your rent. The boat is 5 meter long and perfect for both fishing and shopping in nearby Vaxholm. There are life jackets for adults and children in the house.
Bicycles: two bicycles for adults and two for children is included in your rent.
